Big Peat is a blended malt whisky from Douglas Laing. It is made from a blend of single malts from Islay, Scotland, and is known for its strong, smoky flavour profile. Hints of fruit and spice complement notes of peat, smoke, salt, and iodine.
Big Peat is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks but can also be used in cocktails such as a peaty old fashioned. When drinking neat, it is best served at room temperature in a traditional whisky glass. When paired with food, it works well with smoky, grilled dishes such as barbecue or smoked salmon, as well as rich, savoury dishes such as roasted meats or hearty stews.
