Jacobs Creek Double Barrel Shiraz is a full-bodied red wine made from Shiraz grapes grown in South Australia. The wine is aged in a combination of American and French oak barrels for up to 12 months, which imparts flavours of vanilla, toasted oak, and spice to the wine. On the palate, it has rich and intense blackberry, plum, and dark cherry fruit flavours, complemented by a smooth, velvety tannin structure and a long, lingering finish.
This wine pairs well with grilled meats, roasted poultry, hearty stews, and mature cheeses. The intense flavours and bold tannins make it an excellent match for spicy foods, like BBQ and chilli.
